Eagles soar to win number 22

CHADDERTON Park Eagles under-12s recorded their 22nd consecutive victory with a 5-0 defeat of Clarence in the North Bury League.
Matty Crowe, Joe Ray, Christian Walker, Ryan Slater and Luke Evans got the goals.
The under-12s Vipers swept aside Seedfield 6-1. Jacques Bromby scored four times and Thomas Sherwood and Alex Knight also struck.
CHADDERTON Park were handed the Manchester FA ‘Extra Mile’ award after coming to the rescue of County Cup quarter-final opponents Ardwick.
The under-12s fixture was thrown into turmoil when it emerged visitors Ardwick had no kit or transport, as their minibus broke down the night before the tie. Chadderton Park parents drove opposition players home after the match — which the hosts won 12-3 — and the club provided youngsters with jerseys, drinks and hot sandwiches. John Hurst, Manchester FA’s social inclusion co-ordinator, said: “This is, without question, the most amazing story of best practice I have ever heard.”
LEWIS Wood’s hat-trick inspired 3D Dynamos under-15s to an 8-1 win against Prestwich Town.
He was joined on the scoresheet by Jack Brocklehurst (two), Joe Chadderton, Danny Laithwaite and Lewis Henshall.
ROCS under-15s defeated Chadderton Park 3-0 in the North Manchester Girls’ League.
Leah Bickerstaffe pounced twice and Abby Bennett also netted.
FEIRUZ Abdullahi’s treble inspired Oldham Athletic under-16s to a 5-1 win at the expense of Uppermill.
Lauren Ainsworth and Danielle Partington were also on target.
3D DYNAMOS are through to the Tameside and District Junior League Challenge Cup semi-finals after beating Audenshaw 3-2. Ellis Kostyk struck twice and Nick Craig got the other goal.
BOUNDARY Park Juniors under-15s edged out Tameside FC 2-1 in the Tameside Sunday League.
On the mark were Ryan Knott and Callum Berriman.
