FLAMBOYANT: Regan Walker shows off his skills after penning a two-year scholarship with Bury.
FOOTBALL: WATERHEAD Academy student Regan Walker is one step closer to making the grade after signing a two-year scholarship deal with npower League One side Bury.
The 15 year old has impressed Shakers coaches after working his way through the club’s junior system, which he joined at 11.
That came after a number of dazzling displays for Boundary Park junior sides and a brief spell with Manchester City.
Attacking midfielder Regan said: “I am so chuffed to have made the team. But this is only the beginning.
Since the start of the season, Regan has featured in nine matches for Bury under-16s and five times for the youth team - two in the FA Youth Cup. He has scored 12 goals.
