ROYTON and Greenfield under-15s joined Bamford at the top of the table with victories in the Saddleworth and District League.
Although Greenfield beat Micklehurst by five wickets, they only finished the job on the final ball.
Micklehurst posted 113 for four and, with the scores identical, a scrambled single from the last delivery sparked scenes of delight for Greenfield.
A comfortable 10-wicket win at home to Glodwick pleased Royton, who dismissed their opponents for 36. William Sandiford-Mitchell claimed four for one.
At Well-i’th-hole, Saddleworth ‘A’ defeated their ‘B’ team counterparts to move joint-second with Glodwick.
Stalybridge SP against Heyside was postponed due to the Moore Cup.
SADDLEWORTH under-17s beat Heyside in the Romida Trophy second round after making 164 for four and restricting their opponents to 86 for eight.
Ashton won by six wickets against Uppermill, who had recorded 89 for five.
Moorside reached their target for the loss of just one wicket after Glodwick posted 81 for eight.
And Greenfield got the better of Shaw to reach the last four.
In the semi-finals Saddleworth will take on Ashton and Greenfield face Moorside.
The matches will be played on July 4.
