RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH under-16s overwhelmed Waterhead 40-0 to reach the final of the Oldham Cup.
In conditions which proved difficult for both sides, Rangers scored two first-half tries through Jack Johnson and Joe Butler, both of which were goaled by Dominic D’Adamo.
Waterhead battled throughout the contest but could not find a way through.
In the second period Johnson grabbed his second touchdown while Dominic Elkin, Harry Wallace, Ryan Shaw and Tyrone Chipchase all went over. D’Adamo landed a further six goals.
