Greenfield rise as Bamford lose

CRICKET:
GREENFIELD under-15s took top spot from Bamford Fieldhouse in the Saddleworth and District League without bowling a ball.
Two points were awarded to Greenfield and Shaw after their match was abandoned.
Bamford lost at Saddleworth ‘A’, who recorded 114 for four, with Lewis Martin mustering 40.
In reply, Bamford could only manage 93 for five in their 18 overs.
Micklehurst enjoyed victory at Glodwick, who were dismissed for 50. Micklehurst reached their taret for the loss of one wicket
The rest of the under-15s schedule could not go ahead due to unfit playing surfaces.
UNDER-17s action was not possible in the Romida Trophy semi-finals.
Greenfield versus Moorside and Saddleworth against Austerlands were both abandoned.
