Rounders:
ST PAUL’S came out on top in the Oldham Schools’ rounders finals.
The victory earned them the right to represent Oldham in the Greater Manchester School Games — which they also won.
At Manor Park, St Paul’s managed to see off the challenge of St Martin’s, Thorp, Hulme, St Hilda’s, Mills Hill, Delph and Richmond.
Organiser Steve Tyrrell said: “Rounders is catching on and growing in popularity.
“It was a fun afternoon and congratulations to St Paul’s on their double success. This will be an annual event. Thanks also to volunteers from Oldham Rugby Union’s Summer Rounders League, who officiated.”
