Happy House revel in field of dreams

Athletics:
CROMPTON House dominated the field events in the Oldham Schools Athletics Championships, with the boys and girls teams winning their respective categories.
The boys edged to the narrowest of victories, pipping Saddleworth to the post by a solitary point in the annual event at Radclyffe School.
The winners finished on 73, Saddleworth on 72 and third-placed Waterhead Academy on 62.
Year Seven action saw Saddleworth come out on top, while Waterhead led the way in Year Eight.
Year Nine honours were even at the top, with Royton and Crompton and Oasis Academy sharing first place.
Hosts Radclyffe saw off stiff competition to win the Year 10 section.
In the girls group, Crompton House ran away with the bragging rights, accumulating 97 points in the process.
Saddleworth (58) took the runners-up spot, with Oasis Academy (39) in third position.
Crompton House won every age group, with Saddleworth second in Year Seven and 10.
Oasis Academy were the closest challengers in Years Eight and Nine.
