Cadd back to lead side

CRICKET:

ANDREW Cadd returns as captain of the Saddleworth and District Cricket League’s Colts side for Sunday’s final Inter-League group ‘B’ clash against the Manchester Association at Whalley CC (1.30pm).

The Austerlands seam bowler missed the defeat at home to the Bolton League because of injury.

The Saddleworth League are still in with a shout of reaching the final, but victory this weekend is essential.



THE Saddleworth and District Cricket League’s under-15s face the Palace Shield representative side in the sem-final of the Michael Roche Trophy at Friarmere on Sunday (1.30pm).

The other last-four tie features the Lancashire County League and Liverpool Competition.
