House handed home draw

FOOTBALL:
CROMPTON House School have received a plum home draw against Sale Grammar School (Trafford) in the first round of the ESFA Boys Under-15 Schools’ Cup.
The local youngsters are the only side in the borough to have been drawn at home, with all of our other school teams having to hit the road.
North Chadderton High School face a tough trip to Thornleigh Salesian Sports College (Bolton), while Blessed John Henry Newman RC College head to Newall Green High (Manchester).
Hulme Grammar must travel to Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar (Rossendale), while Failsworth Sports College are up against All Hallows RC High School (Salford).
Holders Oasis Academy Shirley Park (Croydon SFA) begin their defence at Chelsea Academy.
The prestigious nationwide knock-out competition has attracted 762 entries.
First round ties take place on or before Saturday, September 22.
