FOOTBALL:
WILL Revill’s hat-trick helped Springhead under-16s to a 3-1 win over Kingsway in the Tameside and District League.
But the under-15s were defeated 5-3 by Reddish Vulcans, despite a Kenan Dewar brace and Calum Stansfield’s penalty. Tom Wychrij was boy of the match.
BRAD Adams, boy of the match Brad Legge and Callum Harris were all at the double as Heyside under-15s beat Dukinfield Tigers 8-1.
Ryan Nolan and Conner Buckley did the rest of the damage.
They also beat 3D Dynamos 7-3.
The under-16s saw off AFC Oldham 5-4 after Jordon Hall and Lucas Foster-Jones bagged two each and Zach Lucy and Tom Maloney got in on the act.
They also got the better of Ashton United 4-1, with Foster-Jones again scoring twice. Also on the mark were Hall and James Moore.
