Eagled-eyed Josh outplays elders

GOLF:

RISING star Josh Ainscough had back-to-back eagles on holes 11 and 12 as he won division one of the September singles Stableford at Stamford.

The 15 year old, who plays off 4.6, is one of nine Stamford juniors who plays off a single-figure mark.

Josh, a regular for the Cheshire junior team, scored 44 points against runner-up Anthony Cavanagh’s 42 and Chris Houfe on 41.
