FOOTBALL:
3D Dynamos under-16s are through to the second round of the Tameside and District League Challenge Cup after beating Ashton United on penalties, following a 2-2 draw.
Callum Webb and Lewis Henshall struck in normal time.
HEYSIDE under-16s saw off Denton 5-0 through a Lucas
Foster-Jones hat-trick and efforts from Jordon Hall and Ethan Lord.
JAMES Larty scored five goals as Chadderton under-15s defeated Castleton 9-2 in the Rochdale and Oldham League.
He was joined on the scoresheet by Abid Ahmed (two), Darius Worsley and Stephen Golding.
CROMPTON Villa under-16s swept aside Mossley 8-1 to reach the next stage, with Liam Pilling on the mark four times.
ROCS under-16s earned a 2-1 win over Chadderton Park thanks to Leah Bickerstaffe and Alys Wild efforts in the North Manchester Girls’ League.
UPPERMILL under-15s got the better of Urmston Reds 3-2 courtesy of strikes from Amy Platt, Laura Senior and Ruby Duncan.
HEYSIDE Angels Blues under-16s edged past their Angels Metz counterparts 4-3.
Hayley Fielding (two), Leoni Harland and Ella Milovanovic netted for the winners, with Tanisha Williams (two) and Ashlie Wylie on the mark for Metz.
Heyside Metz under-15s got the better of Angels Inter 3-1, with Williams, Katie Newton and Ashlie Wylie scoring, and Tia Jackson producing the consolation.
ALIX Sephton scored the consolation goal as Heyside Angels Harriers under-18s lost 7-1 to Hough End Griffins in the Greater Manchester Womens’ League.
