RUGBY UNION: OLDHAM Colts got the better of their Wigan counterparts, 31-8, in a comprehensive away performance.
It was Oldham’s seventh successive Raging Bull North-West League victory.
The visitors hit the ground running and dominated proceedings.
Their work was rewarded with an unconverted try from forward Zac Strudwick, who capped a flowing team move.
Centre Matt Brearley extended the lead with a solo effort, before wing Ellis Heliere added the extras.
Oldham were still firmly in control after the interval, despite missing a number of clear opportunities.
Second-row Lewis Wilcocks was man-of-the-match, courtesy of a tireless performance.
