POTTING sensation Aaron Davies was right on cue in the England Under-18 Eight-Ball Pool Championship held at Leicester.
In winning the 64-player event, Aaron enhanced his already-considerable reputation at the age of 15.
A member of the England under-18 pool team, Aaron, of Briony Close, Royton, is equally adept at snooker.
He has qualified for the National Under-16s Championship finals to be held next April and will be bidding to improve on last season’s performance when he reached the semi-finals.
Furthermore, the Newman RC College pupil is leading the Northern Under-19 tour rankings after three of the five tournaments.
And should he finish in the top four of the league, organised by the England Snooker and Billiards Association, he will qualify to play in the Premier Tour throughout the country.
Aaron, who has been playing since the age of nine, has developed his skills under the wing of local coach Barry Broadbent and can also be seen practising at the Oldham Snooker Academy.
