SADDLEWORTH School were walking tall after clinching the Oldham Schools Years 10 and 11 Basketball Championship.
Ten schools were represented in the competition in Hollinwood.
And Saddleworth emerged victorious with a 100-per-cent record in all six of their matches.
They defeated Newman College, Radclyffe, Blue Coat and Oasis to top their pool.
They went on to beat Oldham Academy North by just two points in nip and tuck semi final.
Failsworth topped the other pool and secured a last-four victory over Oasis Academy.
A competitive final saw Saddleworth establish an early lead. Though Failsworth fought hard, they were unable to prevent Saddleworth taking the match 21-11.
Saddleworth will represent Oldham in the Greater Manchester Under-16s Championships at the Amoechi Centre in the New Year.
