THEY’RE OFF: start of the Year Seven race in the Oldham Schools Cross-Country Championships at Chadderton Hall Park.
CROSS COUNTRY:
CHRISTMAS came early for Crompton House girls as they topped the charts in the Oldham Schools Cross-Country Championships.
After clinching first place in the Year Seven and Year Nine races and second spot in the Year Eight and Years 10 and 11 categories, they claimed the overall title ahead of nearest challengers Blue Coat, who led the way in Year Eight.
Saddleworth, triumphant in the Year 10 and 11 event, were third overall, followed by Hulme and North Chadderton.Chadderton Hall Park hosted the competition, where Crompton House dominated for the third successive year.
