FOOTBALL:
UPPERMILL under-16s enjoyed a 7-0 win at Ossett Albion in the Huddersfield Junior League, with Michael Kitching mustering a brace.
Also on target were Sam Wilson, Jason Norris, Matthew Harewood, Sam Griffiths and Oli Heginbotham.
The under-15s lost 2-1 to Upperthong despite Sam Ogden’s effort.
HEYSIDE under-16s were held to a 2-2 home draw by AFC Oldham in the Tameside and District League.
Lucas Foster-Jones and Jordan Hall netted for the hosts.
The under-15s defeated Denton 5-1 thanks to two goals from Bradley Adams and Kieran Glyn, and a Ryan Nolan effort. They also lost 5-2 to Ardwick despite strikes from Scott Foster and Luke Jones.
TANISHA Williams and Katie Newton scored two goals each as Heyside Angels Metz under-16s saw off Chadderton Park 8-2.
Also on target were Alicia Stretton, Ashleigh Wylie, Sian Brady and Rachel Johnson.
