Saddleworth on right track

CRICKET:
SADDLEWORTH made it two wins out of two as they saw off Shaw by 15 runs in the Saddleworth and District under-15s League.
James Howarth (29) and Jake Manton (21) helped Saddleworth to 92 for five from 16 overs.
In reply, Shaw battled hard as Aaron Birtwistle struck 35, but they came up short, reaching 77 for six in their 16 overs.
Greenfield also won their second game of the season, by 71 runs at home to Heyside.
Glodwick won their first game of the season, by 15 runs at Droylsden. Chasing 82 to win, some tight bowling from Glodwick ensured Droylsden fell short on 66 for four.
Royton won by seven wickets against Stalybridge St Paul’s. Joe Taylor-Maw top-scored with 22 as Royton reached their target of 61 for the loss of three wickets.
Moorside went down by 41 runs at Micklehurst.
