In the under-11 age group, Daniel Aldgate was in terrific form as he battled his way through to the silver medal position.
Eli Bush and Zaine Ravarsz went on to secure very respectable places in the last 16 of the competition, while Nathan Chorlton finished in sixth place.
In the under-14 age category, Joe Westhead fenced brilliantly and went on to earn himself a bronze medal following his superb efforts.
There was a last 16 place for Jake Bruhn in his first competition, while 12-year-old Dan Westhead finished in sixth place and fellow Oldham youngster Ryan Tupman secured an impressive fifth-placed finish.
The Marshall Fencing Club meets every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at the Collective Spirit School, Butterworth Lane in Chadderton.
