CROMPTON House were double winners at the Oldham Schools’ Swimming Championships at the new Oldham Leisure Centre.
The talented girls’ team emerged victorious with a 165-point haul across the four year groups, winning the year nine and years 10-11 categories, while being pipped by Saddleworth in year eight and Hulme in year seven.
Saddleworth were overall runners-up with 150 points, with Hulme third on 119.
Meanwhile, Saddleworth won the girls’ Brown Shield event for the third consecutive year thanks to a record-breaking winning time of 2:01.59. They just beat Crompton House (2:03.36).
