Delph's summit meeting
Date published: 09 June 2017
THERE'S sure to be a big crowd in attendance at The Nook tomorrow as the top two in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership - Hoylandswaine and Delph - go head-to head.
Reigning Premiership champions and Sykes Cup holders Delph have still not been beaten in any competition since 2015, but their 2017 credentials will be severely tested by a Hoylandswaine side who are also already 12 points clear of joint third-placed sides Moorlands and Shepley in the standings.
IN the Greater Manchester League Division One, Woodhouses travel to close neighbours Dukinfield.
The Belfields side are currently fourth in the table and will look to secure a derby victory which would help keep the pressure on leading pair Greenmount and Heywood.
Both the above matches get under way at 1pm.
