DELPH sent out a message to Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership leaders Hoylandswaine on Saturday - 'we're not out of the title race yet'.
Andrew Gleave's second-placed side were ruthless in seeing off what turned out to be a meek challenge from third-placed Moorlands, running out easy victors by nine wickets.
Moorlands took first knock, but were quickly skittled for only 70, inside 24 overs
Kasim took five wickets, while Shakir Muhammad added three as the hosts were shell-shocked.
Mosun Hussain (30 not out) and Shreevats Goswami (34 not out) helped Delph cruise to their victory target in only 12 overs.
* WOODHOUSES surged to the top of the Greater Manchester League Division One thanks to their victory against Heywood.
The Belfields outfit - who have plugged away impressively throughout this term - opted to bat first, scoring 185 for eight.
Heywood - who had been in third place in the standings - then struggled to keep up and were restricted to 154 for nine before their over allocation ran out.
