DROYLSDEN professional Rameez Alam has been reported over the legality of his bowling action.
The 19-year-old Pakistani professional was brought to the attention of Saddleworth and District Cricket League officials after the game against Heyside last month.
He has been reported under MCC rule 24 governing a fair and unfair delivery.
The league has sent a letter to the Lancashire Cricket Board seeking advice, but they are still waiting for a reply.
Alam, who is an occasional right-arm off-break bowler, has taken a handful of wickets for Droylsden this season.

The Sri Lankan, who plays for Austerlands, lives in London and is up and ready for the off at 8am — nearly six hours before the start of the game.
The overseas amateur usually gets a lift with his brother, but has caught a bus from the capital on several occasions this season.
He is a popular member of the Austerlands team and was lost under a pile of bodies after taking a stunning return catch to dismiss Stayley professional Rehan Rafiq last weekend.
BAMFORD Fieldhouse are through to the next stage of the Cockspur Cup after an eight-wicket win over Hyde, from the Cheshire County League.

Andy Smith-Butler took one for seven and Jerry Cassell one for six.
Bamford won with nine overs to spare. Marlon Black, a surprise choice to open the innings, smashed 51 before falling one run short of victory.
