LAST night’s torrential rain washed out hopes of further play in the quarter-finals of the John Willie Lees Wood Cup.
Crompton (at home to Walsden) and Werneth (home to Monton and Weaste) will try again tonight, along with Ashton (v Middleton).
Heywood’s match against Littleborough, which has seen no play so far, will take place on Sunday.
