OLDHAM’S Graeme Wilson collected the top prize of £400 when he beat his friend Lee Lawton (Failsworth) 21-19 in the final of the Joe Gateley Memorial Bowls Classic at Middleton Conservative Club.
Wilson reached the final with a 21-13 defeat of Merseyside’s Robbie Fitzpatrick, while Lawton beat Darren Griffiths (Nimble Nook) 21–15.
