Darts with sparkle

OLDHAM women’s darts team was in sparkling form to beat Stockport 5-2 away in the Greater Manchester Summer League and exact revenge for a recent home defeat by their rivals.
The Oldham winners were Tracey Hindle (2-1), Alison Bennett (2-1) and Shereen Scholes (2-0) in the individuals, along with Debbie Dunkerley and Scholes (2-0), Janet Fox and Michelle Mayall (2-1) in the pairs.
Oldham are in action again on Sunday with a game at Prestwich.
