Super sub sinks Hyde

SUBSTITUTE Danny Egan produced a remarkable scoring burst for Mossley in last night’s 5-3 friendly victory against Hyde United at Seel Park.
The 18-year-old, recently released by Macclesfield Town, came off the bench for the final half-hour and scored four goals in a dramatic finish.
Egan’s goals, which all came in the final 15 minutes, transformed the fortunes of the Lilywhites who were 2-1 behind at the break after former Liverpool player Phil Charnock put them ahead midway through the opening half only for Hyde to hit back with goals from James Dean and former Athletic striker Matthew Tipton.
