Tandle Park Trail

ROYTON Road Runners hosted their second “Trail Race” in and around Tandle Hill Park.

Ian Grime (Newham & Essex Beagles) was first home with an impresive time of 31 minutes 55 seconds for the tough 5.5 miles, ahead of Danny Brocklehurst (Trafford AC) 32.19 and Andrew Lamont (Macclesfield Harriers) 32.46.

Jacqui Dews (Holmfirth H) was the first woman in 39:29.

Bernard Cassidy (35.16) of the host club took second place in the over-45s race.
