Oldham chase place in final
Date published: 25 July 2008
OLDHAM will be hoping it’s a case of third time lucky tonight when they are due to take on Monton and Weaste in the semi-finals of the John Willies Lees Twenty20 Competition.
Heavy rain has thwarted two attempts to stage the game at the Pollards, but the forecast for tonight offers hope that the fixture can go ahead.
The other semi-final will take place at Unsworth, where the visitors are Walsden. Play at both venues gets under way at 6.15pm.
A toss of the coin will decide which of tonight’s two winning teams stages the final.
