Northwich’s 10s victory

NORTHWICH were the victors in the Oldham RUFC 10s tournament at Manor Park on Saturday.
They beat Stockport 17-12 in the final of an event which featured teams from as far afield as East Yorkshire, with Beverley winning the Plate competition.
In the semi-finals, Northwich beat Beverley and Stockport overcame Dukinfield.
Oldham fielded two teams but they found the opposition too strong.
