Fiona in Werneth spotlight

THE LGU medal club captain’s prize at Werneth went to Fiona Dooley, who carded 73-6-67.
Sylvia Haq claimed the first division sweep thanks to her 84-15-69. Next came Pat Grant (108-31-77).
The second division sweep was won by Lisa Hall (98-28-70), with Nadine McNamara (109-31-78) in second place.
CROMPTON and ROYTON
ROUNDS of 85-14-71 and 88-13-75 from S Brown clinched the Winterbottom Cup.
Her total of 146 was two shots clear of S Penney, who carded 86-10-76 and 82-10-72 for 148.
SADDLEWORTH
ANN Head and Liz Hinchcliffe teamed up to win the Daily Mail foursomes event with a score of 90-16.5-73.5.
Second were Jean Dervan and Sue Knebel (96-21.5-74.5).
