Lancs Open chance for Hamer

CHADDERTON Fold golfer Martyn Hamer finished three shots off winner John Cheetham in the James Brearley Lancashire Open at Blackpool North Shore.
Hamer, assistant professional at Ellesmere, carded rounds of 66 and 70 for a 136 total. He was lying in second place going into yesterday final round.
