CHADDERTON bounced back from Saturday’s opening-day defeat to win 2-0 at Leek CSOB in division one of the Vodkat North-West Counties League division one last night.
Goals from Chris Pauley and Micky Green in the 65th and 79th minutes respectively clinched victory for the Broadway outfit.
And Oldham Town survived a second-half fightback to edge out Padiham 4-3.
Town led 4-1 at one stage thanks to Matt Landregan (two), Stuart McGill, and an own goal before the visitors staged a late rally.
