IAN HOWARTH won the Failsworth League Merit at his home green of Delph with a 23-19 defeat of Star’s Alan Bidwell (left) in the final.

SPRINGBANK’S Geoff Woolley won the Saddleworth League’s Tweed Cup at Nimble Nook thanks to a 21-18 final defeat of Lee Schofield (Friezland).
