Road trip for Oldham

OLDHAM Schools under-15s start their Greater Manchester Schools’ League campaign with a trip to Bury on Saturday (kick-off 10.30am).

The town team ended last season mid-table in the under-14s division, level on points with this weekend’s opponents.

But they did not fare as well in the Talbot Cup. They bowed out at the first-round stage, losing 3-2 on penalties to Salford.

Meanwhile, this season’s under-14s open against Stockport on Saturday week.
