NIMBLE Nook team-mates Andrew Buckley and Gary Ellis were today bidding to reach the last 16 of the Waterloo Handicap in Blackpool.
Buckley beat N Breadley (Bradford) 21-11 in his fourth-round match on Saturday, while Ellis defeated Andrew Moss (Whitchurch) 21-12 in a battle of two former champions.
Buckley’s opponent today was Anthony Gartside of St Helens, while Ellis was up against Rob Swift of Rotherham.

o MOORSIDE’S Graeme Wilson returned to his native Yorkshire on Saturday to win the £5,000 Brighouse Classic with a 21-13 defeat of Chesterfield’s Andrew Spragg.
Wilson was in imperious form all night, starting with a 21-11 verdict over Andrew Cairns (Rawtenstall).
Mark Ferris (Stoke) was brushed aside 21-7 in the last eight, while John Richardson (Doncaster) was dispatched 21-16 in the semi-finals.
