BAMFORD Fieldhouse marched into the semi-finals of Oldham CC’s floodlit Twenty20 competition when they defeated the President’s X1 by eight runs last night.

Bamford made 123 for seven and, despite a knock of 45 from Grant Jones, the President’s X1 were restricted to 115 for nine.

Oldham play Werneth tomorrow (3pm), while the semi-finals and final will be held on Sunday, starting at 1pm.
