In-form North go second

NORTH CHADD have moved into second place in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League after a convincing 5-1 victory over Oldham Town.

CBC remain one point clear at the top of the table despite losing 4-2 to Blue Club A.

A 52 break by Martin Kennedy helped Little Cot A to a 5-1 victory over Springbank B which takes his side up into joint third place.

The breaks were also being racked up down at the Moss Inn where a 31 from G Hickman and a 43 by Russ Bedford were enough to take their respective frames as Moss beat Blue Club A 4-2 to retain joint third spot alongside Stanley Road and Little Cot A.

Oldham Cricket and Springbank B are sitting at the top of the card league two points clear of the chasing pack.
