Depleted Chadderton rout Rochdale

A makeshift Chadderton outfit — they were missing five players through injury or other commitments — defeated Rochdale Town 4-1 in division one of the Vodkat North-West Counties League last night.
John Cregan put Paul Buckley’s side ahead after 21 minutes, only for the hosts to draw level before the break.
But goals from Matt Edgerton, Gareth Morris and Chris Carruthers clinched the points for Chadderton, who are now up to third in the table.
