SPRINGHEAD are back on song in the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League premier division.
Sevens days after losing to Chapel Town, the Ashfield Crescent club claimed maximum points with a 3-1 win at Prestwich Heys.
And they recovered from the blow of conceding a goal within two minutes of the start to record their first victory in four games.
Springhead remained focused and drew level after 18 minutes when Richard Bennett created a chance for Paul Stevenson, who provided a cool finish.
The visitors were in front moments later when a free-kick was deflected into his own net by a Heys defender.
Springhead added a third on the half-hour mark when Bennett ended a flowing move.
Points were shared in the local derby between Royton Town and Avro, but Hollinwood went on the rampage at home to Hindsford.
Mark Howard’s men won 13-2 with Alan Beckett bagging nine of the goals. See separate story.
