OLDHAM Hulmeians suffered their first defeat in division two of the Lancashire Amateur League as Roach Dynamos claimed a 5-3 victory at Tate Street.
Danny Proffitt and Danny Tate (two) were on the mark for the home side.
Meanwhile, the seconds won 2-0 at Thornleigh ‘B’ in division six courtesy of Matt McCarthy’s brace.
Hulmeians ‘A’ went down 5-2 at Castle Hill ‘A’ in division seven — John Hurst and Lee Kerwin bagged the visitors’ goals — and the fourths earned a 3-3 draw at home to Chaddertonians ‘B’. Rick Connolly, Ross Pierce and John Hardisty found the net for Hulmeians.
Two goals from Jake Wharton helped Failsworth Dynamos to a 4-2 win at home to Bolton Wyresdale — Tom Stuttard and Michael Shenton also scored — while the reserves fought out a 2-2 draw against their Broughton Amateur counterparts in division three.
Terry Qualters and Jamie Blood got the goals for Dynamos.
Returning to the top-flight, Chaddertonians enjoyed a 6-3 win over Bury GSOB, but their reserves lost 1-0 at home to Howe Bridge Mills.
