Players past and present gathered to honour Jim Bradbury’s 50 years at Uppermill Cricket Club.
A match to commemorate Jim’s half-century had to be cancelled because of a waterlogged ground, but the wet weather failed to dampen spirits in the evening.
“It was a great night,” said Jim (61). “I know the place was packed out, although I’m not too sure how long it went on!”
Jim is still a regular for the second team.
