Cup test for RU
Date published: 17 October 2008
OLDHAM RUFC take a break from league action tomorrow as they hit the trail to Twickenham.
The Manor Park side is at home to St Benedicts in the second round of the EDF Energy Senior Vase having received a bye in the opener.
Saints were relegated from North Lancs/Cumbria division last season and Oldham completed a league double over the Cumbrian club.
Player-coach Steve Molloy and James Wilkinson, both unavailable for last Saturday’s first win of the league campaign against Keswick, return to the squad.
Oldham will be looking to build on the improvement shown last weekend by the forwards who ensured a good supply of ball from set pieces.
