Crompton stay out in front

HIGH CROMPTON ‘B’ secured their lead at the top of the Chadderton Snooker League (sponsored by Hillbillies Snooker and Pool Club) after beating Passenger Transport 4-2.

Royton Cons were a black ball away from taking all six points from Shaw Road for whom G Smith spared the whitewash with a 55-51 win over A Bamford. Royton’s 5-1 win puts them in joint position with Clarksfield.

Last season’s card champions Chadderton Cot ‘A’ lie joint first with Clarksfield.
