Royle’s record wrecked by Rec

HOPWOOD wrecked Royle’s unbeaten record when they beat their great rivals 7-4 to move into second place in the ‘A’ Division of the Inbev Winter Bowls League at Chadderton Cot.
Reigning champions Royle retain top spot, but have no game next weekend when Hopwood have an outside chance of going above them.
Lees/Springhead bounced back from last week’s defeat to beat Springbank 8-3 and move into third position.
New Street registered their first victory of the season, winning a tight match against Radcliffe 7-4.
Tonge extended their ‘B’ Division lead to eight points with a 9-2 defeat of Failsworth.
North Chadderton beat Vixens 8-3 to move into second place, while Dogwood defeated Prestwich 7-4 despite an improved performance from their opponents.
