NORTH Chadderton moved to the top of the ‘B’ Division in the Inbev Winter Bowling League at Chadderton Cot when they beat Nimble Nook 8-3.

Prestwich built on the previous week’s good result to defeat Lower Failsworth 9-2 and have moved off the bottom for the first time this season.

Dogwood, meanwhile, beat the Vixens 7-4 in a tight match.

New Street’s recent improvement in the ‘A’ Division continued when they registered an impressive 9-2 victory over struggling Springbank.

The result lifted New Street off the bottom of the table and dumped their rivals in that unwanted berth.

At the other end of the table, Hopwood beat Radcliffe 9–2 and are a single point behind reigning champions Royle.

Waterloo and Taunton beat Lees/Springhead 9-2 to move into third.
