Snooker round up

IT’S all change at the top of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League thanks to a double-fixture week.

Moss Inn have moved into top spot, one point clear of Deaf ‘B’ and North Chadd, while previous leaders Springbank ‘A’ could only manage two points out a possible 12 and slid down to joint fourth.

Steve Bramwell of Oldham Cricket recorded the highest break of the season so far, his 60 in the final frame helping Cricket to the first of two 5-1 victories.

There is a delegates’ meeting this Sunday (12:30pm) at Chadderton Reform. Teams wishing to enter players in the Peter Smith individuals or Ossie Meadows pairs should bring in their completed sheets, along with £2 per player.
