Log-end leagues set to clash

FOUR leagues in the Oldham area will feature among the 17 in the Manchester Log-End Federation’s Inter-League tournament this winter and next spring.
The Failsworth & District League face an intruiging tie against the Oldham Independent League, while the 2006-07 champions, the Failsworth Premier League, entertain the South Manchester League.
The Oldham Red Rose League have to travel to play the David Bailey Openshaw League, first-round matches to be played by January 4.
THREE Oldham town team darts players were victorious for Lancashire who defeated Cambridgeshire 27-9 away to claim top spot in the Inter-Counties Championship.
All three of the winners were in the Lancashire ‘B’ team who won their section 11-1.
Chris North was the ‘B’ team man of the match averaging 95.33 every three darts in his 3-0 success.
The two other ‘B’ team winners were Dave Yates and Neil Hunter, both by 3–1 margins.
THE Oldham men’s darts team is next in action at neighbours Rochdale Borough on Sunday, November 16 in the premier division of the Lancashire GMC Super League.
