TWO of the UniBond League division one north’s leading marksmen are involved in a shoot-out at Trafford tomorrow when Mossley are the visitors.
Trafford’s Scott Barlow tops the division’s scoring charts with 21 goals, while Mossley’s Mike Fish is in third place with 15.
Mossley, whose front man Danny Dignan is ruled out with broken ribs, have reinforced their forward line with the capture of Matty Berkeley from crisis-club Leigh Genesis.
Manager Chris Willcock is delighted to have landed Berkeley, who has played international football for St Kitts and Nevis and was a professional at Gretna during two promotions campaigns in Scotland.
Berkeley has also played for Droylsden and Workington in Blue Square North.
Injury-hit Mossley, who have lost their last two league matches, expect to have left-back Leon Henry and winger Lee Blackshaw back in action.
