TAME VALLEY’S fourth team recorded a fifth consecutive win to move into second place in division five east of the JJB North West Counties Squash League.
They defeated Fairways Lodge’s sixth team 4-1 through Fiona Heston, Mark Regan, Derek Leyland and Eric Mowinski.
The first team returned to winning ways, overcoming Wigan Cricket Club’s third team 3-2 thanks to the efforts of Jamie Maddox, Amir Manachouri and Mike Potter.
The second team were beaten 3-2 by Cheetham Hill firsts, Herbie Roebuck and John Heston their two victors.
